Trigger Finger

As always after a move of the site and a redesign I have been paying a little more attention to the stats than usual, as it’s pretty funny to see some of the stuff in there.

To give an idea of scale the site gets about 2500 visitors per day and so is by no means some great revelation in terms of user habits, but still some interesting stuff.

People STILL use Windows ME!
Astonishingly, around 20 people a day come to this site using Windows ME. Seriously you guys are the reason virus writers are still in business! To top it all most of them are still on Internet Explorer 5. I feel dirty…. urgh

Twitter Users Seem to be Mac Fanboi’s
Almost every referral from twitter is a mac user. I thought I had made my feelings clear about mac fanbois. Again, must try harder…

Mac Fanboi’s are NOT Stupid Enough to use Safari
iPhones excepted, even mac fanboi’s are not deranged enough to use Safari. Is there any point to Safari any more other than to annoy the shit out of me via Apple Updater every time I wanna update iTunes? How many times do I have to say “I don’t want it OR Bonjour goddamit!”

Firefox / IE is a draw
Excluding the odd browsers like Playstation 3 & Mozilla Minefield (eh?), its pretty much a 50/50 split between Firefox and IE derivatives. I think MS will lose this battle once that shitpile called IE8 hits the streets
