Crawford worked as a game designer at Atari until 1984 and also penned the classic The Art of Computer Game Design. For Chris Crawford, gaming is now lifeless: “Has anybody noticed that we don’t appeal to the general public? Has anybody thought that perhaps it might be a good thing?”
